4/4/11 Update

Well, Shauny, I took a gander at all the photoshop stuff you told us to look at on your blog and I think that all of it is just marvelous. Aaaabsolutely TERRIFIC. Other than that, we were put in our photoshop groups (or whatever those are) last class, and I'm in a group with Austin, Lexi and Veronica. This excites me because both Austin and Lexi are good at photoshop and Veronica is really smart so I am very satisfied with my group and I think we will be successful in covering whatever it is you want us to cover.

Senior Auction!

Today was the Senior Auction FINALLY. I think we got some really good pictures and we are waiting for them to be edited as I type this! Hopefully, we can fit a lot of pictures on the page, because there are so many good ones. I think we should be able to because there isn't that much writing, because there's not that much to say about Senior Auction!

Woohoo!!

Mr. Shaun, I am absolutely THRILLED that you are back! That sub you had for us was really creepy and made me feel uncomfortable. Anyway, the Senior Auction was pushed back to March 10th, which means I need a new page for this grading period. Soooo I decided to buddy up with my pal Tyler to work on the Italian Honor Society. Tyler has already taken the pictures and written the information, but he said that I could write the captions and edit the pictures. We're such a good team, I can hardly believe it.

Okay, so Blogger.com was like "nooo, you can't use this account anymore!" so I made a new account, and then I tried to get on this one again and it was like "okay, sure! you can log on!" So by the end of this year, I'm probably going to have like 385,592 blogger accounts because it is just so DIFFICULT to maintain a blog site in this class!

Well, anyway.

We have a really cute substitute for your class today. He's pretty charming. Today, I worked on my page some more. I asked Zach to proof read what I had written and he gave me some helpful advice! Haleigh and I have decided that for the Senior Auction page, she'll be taking the pictures because I'll be in it!

1/31/11

Today was a very successful day. With the help and support of our substitute, Mr. Manly, I was able to climb on a chair and write my name on the space that said "NHS" for new pages. Then, I realized that I don't want to do the NHS page! So then, I scribbled out my name, and put JK. THEN, I proceeded to write my name next to the Senior Auction space. Because that sounds much more fun than stinky old NHS.
After that, I got on blogger to blog about that. But this weird thing popped up on blogger where I had to click "Do This Later" so I hope that doesn't come back ever. It was a little scary. But I made it! And I was able to tell you about all the wonderful things that happened to me today in Yearbook. As you learned in Chapter 4, Rutherford proposed that all of an atom's positive charge and virtually all of it's mass are concentrated in a nucleus that is surrounded by fast moving electrons. How extraordinarily like your father you are. I told you to shut up about my dad!!! Harry returned to the Gryffindor common room one evening after training, cold and STIFF. But pleased with the way practice had gone.  Fathers and cream.

1/21/11

Sooo yesterday, I went to Meatheads club to take pictures, but then Mr. DeJohn was like "No, come next Tuesday because we'll have something special planned" so I was like "ugh, okay." So yeah. This coming Tuesday, I will be taking tons and tons of beautiful pictures of a bunch of sweaty boys lifting weights. It's going to be so fabulous, and you're going to say "Gee, Brianna. I should have made you a photographer instead of a marketer." Not to say that I wanted to be a photographer in the first place, because I didn't. I'm just predicting your reaction. Okay byyyyyeeee!!

Heeeeeeeeeey, Shaun. So, I talked to the captain of the Meatheads Club, Jean, and he informed me that the club meets every Tuesday and Thursday in the weight room and is sponsored by Mr. DeJohn. This is all very useful information for my page, and I will be staying after school to take pictures of the people in the club to put in the yearbook. It is very helpful being friends with somebody who is captain of the club that I am covering for Yearbook :D

1/14/11Update

Today, my good ol' pal Austin and I took our picture for Nicole's Senior Superlatives page. Because, you know, we won Most Musically Inclined. Let me tell you, Mr. Shaun, we looked totally hot. But anyway. Looking over the list of photographers, I now have an idea of who I can talk to about taking pictures for the Senior Auction. I would do it myself, but I'm actually going to be in the Senior Auction and it's difficult to be in that AND take pictures of it at the same time. Kay, byyyyyeee!!

The Neeeew Yeeeeear!

Yay, back at school! This semester, I will be working on completing my other page, the Senior Auction page. I admit that last semester, I wasn't exactly on task all the time, which resulted in my page being uncompleted for my final. This year, I will work more effectively and will manage my time much better. I realize that I will need several pictures of this event and will talk to a photographer about it, or if nothing else, I can take the pictures myself.
